Drive-By Shooting

Here's an update to the story.

Officers with the Lafayette Police Department are asking for information about a deadly shooting.

An Acadia Parish man has been arrested for allegedly being the shooting in two drive-by shootings.

Witnesses tell Lafayette Police officials a drive-by shooter fired from the sunroof.

Abbeville Police officials were able to track down two men whom they believe are responsible for a drive-by shooting that happened on February 16.

The man was being sought by authorities earlier in July on multiple charges.

There was also another shooting that police believe was connected to the drive-by.

18-year-old Roy Randle, a suspect in a recent drive-by shooting, is on the loose.

The suspect's car is described as a small silver four door car.

Sheriff Louis Ackal is asking anyone knowing the whereabouts of Hurst to call the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-369-3711.

It appears road rage got the best of 30-year-old Jeroswaski Collette of New Iberia on Sunday.

The suspect fled down Kaliste Saloom Road.

Police have arrested 19-year-old David Harrington of Opelousas for the Tuesday night drive-by shooting that injured one person.

The victim was taken to a hospital, and he remains in stable condition.
