City-Parish President Joey Durel joined Ken & Bernie today on Newstalk 96.5 KPEL's "Lafayette Live" to discuss a number items impacting Lafayette Parish.
According to LSU economist Dr. Loren Scott, nearly 14,000 jobs are expected to be added in 2012 and 15,000 in 2013. Much of the growth is going to occur in Lake Charles and Baton Rouge according to Scott. He also said that New Orleans shows no signs of any improvement over the next two years...
The President, in a recent interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, said that people are not better off than they were 4 years ago. He went on to say that they had made some progress, but that things were not enough.
