With over 400 festivals each year, Louisiana definitely has something fun for everyone to enjoy!

We've all been there at some point in our lives. We find ourselves somewhere outside of South Louisiana surrounded by people not accustomed to the things we say or do. We might let out a "C'est tout fini?" or tell someone to "Make a pass" because "We're gonna make a roux" and get a look as if we're speaking a language from a different galaxy. The City of Opelousas will hold the last Music & Market concert series of the fall season this Friday.

A celebration of music, culture and life, the Al Berard Music Festival is held in memory of the Cajun musician, all to raise funds the Al Berard Memorial Music Fund at Community Foundation of Acadiana.
