"Free To Learn" is a fund-raising campaign to benefit Special Olympics and can help one family pay for education expenses.

This year's annual ScholarWise Scholarship winner was announced on Friday, and the winner is............State Senator Mike Michot of Lafayette, who was actually the first person to buy a ticket as the event kicked off this year.

A fundraiser for Special Olympics Louisiana, an education account for your family and the chance to study abroad if you wish; these are just some of the things that you can do if you are this year's recipient ScholarWise winner.

There is a great way to help out your bank account and to help Special Olympics Louisiana.  The Scholarwise program is a way for parents, grandparents and students to win a chance at getting a $100,000 account to pay for school.  Coordinator Fred Reggie says it's a "win, win" for everyone.

On this morning's edition of The Morning Report with Bernadette Lee and Ken Romero, Fred Reggie joined the show.  Reggie is heading up the 2nd annual ScholarWise fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Louisiana.  Reggie says it called the Anytime, Anywhere, Any School Scholarship.
