A Kent State University study says that often elderly individuals do not heed warnings to make sure they are careful in the heat.  The study cites that the elderly tell researchers they don't heed the warnings because they don't feel as old as their age.

The dry weather is making life difficult on the state's cattle industry.

Overall, about 180-thousand households were without power Monday morning.  The rolling black out lasted two-and-a-half hours.  Power officials tell KPEL news the order to pull the plug this morning was very rare.
