Iced over roads and bridges in our area could remain closed for quite some time.

Members of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development continue to work clearly ice from I-10.

Photos posted on Facebook Wednesday morning show roads in parts of upper Evangeline Parish, near Beave and Pine Prairie, still covered with ice.

The ice is more than one-inch thick.
