The American Chemical Council has put out a report that says expanding sources of natural gas could produce more than 35-thousand new jobs in Louisiana.

According to LSU economist Dr. Loren Scott, nearly 14,000 jobs are expected to be added in 2012 and 15,000 in 2013. Much of the growth is going to occur in Lake Charles and Baton Rouge according to Scott. He also said that New Orleans shows no signs of any improvement over the next two years...
