You can use Gussie Drive and Fairview Parkway to detour around the closed intersections, and there will be signs in the area directing you to the detour routes.

Local traffic only can use Highway 102 up to the point of where the closure will happen near mile marker 19.

The closure will be through 5 o'clock this afternoon.

The work will take place each of the days between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The lane closures on Ambassador between Ridge Road and Johnston Street will continue as construction of the project has been continued.

DOTD says you can detour using the other sections of Louisiana Highway 87, Louisiana Highway 3195 (the Nelson Canal Bridge) and Louisiana Highway 182.

Highway 167 near Leblanc Road is closed due to a crash and ruptured natural gas line. State Police are working to get the gas line capped at this time.
