Residents inconvenienced by delays in $12M La.328 Anse Broussard Highway project in St. Martin Parish.

The bridge located on Savoy Road at Railroad Road in Youngsville, Louisiana will be closed for maintenance for the next several days.

A pretty busy road in Lafayette, Louisiana will be closed over the next several weeks for repairs to a bridge.

This coming weekend, motorists will need to plan ahead as one of Lafayette's busiest bridges will close for maintenance.

According to a press release sent out on Tuesday, LCG said the project will be delayed until 2025.

Detour signs will be posted.

A recent video capturing the icy and snow-covered conditions on I-49 in North Louisiana serves as an important reminder of the importance of heeding state officials' advice to avoid traveling during icy or snowy conditions. Not only do we have less experience driving in these icy conditions we also do not drive vehicles with the proper snow tires making traveling during this time extremely dangerous.

UPDATE: West University Avenue is now open in both directions and traffic is flowing normally.

The collapsed culvert is located along LA 90/Cameron Street near LA 93 (Westgate Rd).

Officials with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office say that the roadway in the 1400 block of Grand Bois Road is closed to traffic until repairs can be made.

The Youngsville and LCG are moving forward with plans to improve Bonin Road, and that will require a minor inconvenience for some of us.

Officials with the City of Scott said that to properly stripe the detour road, conditions must be dry.

As the City of Youngsville continues to grow, from time to time we'll find temporary minor inconveniences that must occur in the name of progress.

Thru traffic will not be allowed to proceed on a portion of Republic Avenue.

UPDATE- All Lanes on US 90 are now open.

A portion of Galbert Road in Scott will be closed for over a week at its intersection with Cameron Street if weather permits.

The highway will be closed until further notice.

The department will be installing drainage which will require the 600 block of W Broussard to close beginning Monday, September 21

The eastbound lanes of I-10 are open through Acadiana this morning after being closed for most of Tuesday.
