Motorists who travel through the City of Scott will need to make some alternate route choices if they normally travel through the intersection of Apollo Road and Old Spanish Trail.

Every one of those blue circle things indicates a major roadway or bridge that is closed because of ice.

The closure is necessary for roadway construction related to the ongoing widening of LA 339 (Verot School Road) project.

Crews from LUS will be working to do infrastructure repair to the sewer system in that area.

The closure is scheduled to last only four hours.

DOTD apologizes for any inconvenience the work may cause.

The work will last through Wednesday of next week.
