Louisiana lawmakers have agreed to a $600 borrowing plan to fund three interstate projects aimed at alleviating traffic and boosting economic development.
Work has officially begun on a major road and bridge renovation for the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. The project will run on Interstate 10 from LA 347 (Henderson/Cecilia exit) to LA 77 in Grosse Tete.
