This comes just two days after NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell rejected appeals from the suspended players.

Current New Orleans Saints players Jonathan Vilma and Will Smith, as well as former Saints players Scott Fujita and Anthony Hargrove, face suspensions ranging from 3 games to 1 full NFL season.

Jonathan Vilma's attorney, Peter Ginsberg, calls the process "a sham."

Vilma was suspended by Goodell for the entire 2012 season over his accused role in the Saints bounty scandal.

Vilma argues that the NFL has not put forth evidence linking him to the bounty situation.

The players union says Goodell should not be allowed to punish players for acts which happened before the current bargaining agreement was finalized on August 4th of last year.

Roger Goodell is a little soft in the head if he expects "polite" hits from NFL players.

Two current Saints players face suspensions; four players in all were punished.

Sources say the future Hall of Fame Coach will not fill in for soon-to-be suspended Saints Head Coach Sean Payton in the upcoming 2012 season.
