Lafayette is growing as a city, with multiple new restaurants and activities to do around the city. One thing that the city lacks, is different ways to get around the city that's not a car. Well, Lafayette is getting a new scooter and e-bike shop coming downtown.

Santa on a Scooter is looking for the public's help in finding out who tried to knock him off of his sled with a paintball gun.

A couple of weeks ago, Lafayette Mayor-President Joel Robideaux asked that motorized scooters be pulled from the streets of Lafayette because the city cannot legally accommodate them.

If the scooters in Lafayette go away, this dude will not be a happy camper.

It seems like every Lafayette corner is occupied by a flock of Bird and Lime Scooters, and now a new law regulating the new rides may be on the way.
