The Louisiana music scene and admirers worldwide are in shock as they mourn the untimely death of Grammy-nominated musician and writer, Dege Legg, known professionally as Brother Dege.

A total of 16 Louisiana artists are nominated for 23 awards ranging in genres like New Orleans jazz, blues, Cajun, rap, country, and gospel.
