After the Monroe News-Star stoked the flame when it published an article accusing the University of Louisiana at Lafayette of law-breaking through its athletic branding, the university's student-run newspaper ran a snarky satire piece — featuring faked quotes from students, UL Lafayette President Joe Savoie and UL System President Sandra Woodley — in response.
