Powerful tornadoes that ripped through Mississippi - destroying buildings and obliterating at least one town - killed almost two dozen people, officials said Saturday. They warned that the casualty toll could go higher.
Tornadoes that tore through the greater New Orleans area were captured on video by tower-traffic surveillance, doorbell cameras, and via the cell phones of numerous people who saw the twisters from their cars.
While it is yet to be confirmed by the National Weather Service, the video captured by April Carraway shows what could be tornadic activity in the Evangeline Parish town.
