Tropical Storm Sally is strengthening in the Gulf of Mexico this morning heading for landfall sometime tomorrow on the northern Gulf Coast.

Tropical weather watches and warnings have been posted for areas east of Morgan City to the Florida Panhandle.

Forecasters expect this system to strengthen as it moves into the warmer waters of the Gulf of Mexico today.
