Schools like Catholic High of New Iberia allowed their students to wear purple & gold to class today to support their neighbors during this exciting time.

A teenager from New Iberia was left with a concussion and a broken jaw after being attacked in a bathroom at Westgate High School. The family of the student who suffered the injuries is upset with the way the situation was handled by the school.

Investigators report there has been no firearm found on campus, but deputies are still investigating social media posts.
