Teen Arrested For Carjacking; Man Arrested For Felony Carnal Knowledge Of A Juvenile

Lafayette Police says a 21-year-old man was arrested for felony carnal knowledge of juvenile after allegedly picking up a 16-year-old and performing a sex act on him.

Police report that 21-year-old Allan Bennett picked up a 16-year-old male from an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Ambassador Caffery Parkway, and allegedly committed the act on him in the parking lot.

The teen then wanted to drive Bennett's car, and when he was told no, the teen allegedly pulled out a gun, and he demanded that Bennett get into the passenger's seat.

Police say while Bennett was walking around to that side of the car, the teen drove off.

Allan Bennett was arrested for felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, and when the teen was found in the car, he was arrested for carjacking.
