CHICAGO (AP) — A suburban Chicago teenager already facing terrorism charges in what prosecutors describe as an attempt to bomb a downtown bar will be arraigned today on new charges after authorities say he tried to have an undercover FBI agent killed.

Adel Daoud (dah-OOHD') is scheduled to appear in Chicago federal court, a week after prosecutors announced the new charges, including solicitation of murder. The 19-year-old Hillside man is expected to enter a not guilty plea.

Investigators say that while behind bars, Daoud tried to arrange to kill an agent who prosecutors say played a role in the sting that led to his 2012 arrest.

He's been in jail since then for trying to ignite what he thought was a car bomb outside the bar. He pleaded not guilty in that case.
