DUTCHTOWN, La. (AP) — Three teenagers have been arrested following an investigation into the vandalism of Christmas decorations in the Old Dutchtown Subdivision.

Ascension Parish Sheriff Jeff Wiley said in a news release received by The Advocate (http://bit.ly/Xlj0Vt) that the three suspects were identified from an anonymous tip.

Wiley says 18 homes in the neighborhood suffered vandalism of their Christmas decorations, including one home that had a $35,000 display destroyed.

All three teens were booked on 19 counts of criminal trespass, 18 counts of misdemeanor criminal damage to property and one count each of criminal mischief and felony criminal damage to property.

It was unclear whether the teens have attorneys.
