The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns wanted to continue their offensive out put from yesterday's game in the series finally against the Little Rock Trojans. The Cajuns were able to get things going early on and hold off the Trojans comeback attempt to seal the 4-2 victory and win the first conference series of the year.

The Cajuns took the lead early in the game when they scored on a sacrifice ground out in the top of the 2nd. The Cajuns were able to escape damage in the bottom of the 2nd when the Trojans left the bases loaded. The Cajuns would another run in the top of the 3rd courtesy of a sacrifice fly to give them a 2-0 lead.

The Cajuns would add 2 runs in the top of the 5th. They would get one run from a sacrifice ground out and another on an RBI single from Orynn Veillon. The Trojans would get a run on a sacrifice bunt in the bottom of the 8th to chip into the Cajuns lead.

They would add another run on an RBI single to make it 4-2 but that was all that they would get as Jacob Schultz came in to get the save while Austin Perrin would pick up his first victory of the year after his masterful performance allowing only 2 runs while striking out 8.

The Cajuns will return home to play Northwestern State on Tuesday before traveling to New Orleans to face off against Tulane. The Cajuns will return home for a SBC series against Appalachian State next weekend.
