Flu Cases Increasing; Health Officials Urge Getting Shot

Last week KPEL reported on two cases of children having the flu in Shreveport. This week, the numbers have increased substantially. Doctors have begun to report cases all over the state of the flu in small numbers. The doctors remind everyone again to get their flu shots sooner than later. Other preventatives methods are hand washing and having disinfectant handy to clean surfaces.
