One of the most definable team's in the Ragin' Cajuns program history was the 2014 58 win team that not only hosted a Regional but also a Super Regional, and came one win away from appearing in the College World Series.

Matt Plitt was a senior on that dynamic 2014 team that had a distinct winning mentality that he feels propelled them to as far as they went that season. In fact, that team didn't lose back-to-back games that entire season until the final two games in the Super Regional against Ole Miss.

I hosted The Starting Lineup on Wednesday for Cody Junot and Steve Peloquin and Matt was nice enough to join me for the entire two hours (7-9 a.m. M-F). In part one, Plitt tells us what he's been up to since graduating, we talk youth baseball, and his journey through the game before he got to UL.
