Tropical Storm Nate Forms In The Gulf, Forecast To Head North

Now is the time to prepare as Tropical Storm Nate has officially formed off the coast of Nicaragua. The forecast track takes the storm almost due north to the far southeastern Louisiana coast over to the Florida panhandle. Forecasters warn that the models are still several days out and can change.

The official forecast now encompasses most of the Gulf coast from Louisiana to Florida.
