As is normally the case, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are drawing extremely well for their respective home games at "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.

Louisiana currently ranks 9th in the nation in the latest overall college baseball attendance figures.

Entering the week, and excluding Tuesday and Wednesday night's non-conference games against Louisiana Tech and McNeese, respectively, UL was 17-17 on the season, including an 11-9 home record, having drawn 95,072 fans through 20 home games, for an average of 4,754 fans per home contest.

That average figure ranks 8th in the country in college baseball, and tops in the Sun Belt Conference.

Again; the figure doesn't include the games played this week.

LSU, who is averaging 10,501 fans every home game, ranks number one in the country, followed by Ole Miss, who averages 8,967.

Mississippi St. ranks third on the list, averaging 8,209 fans, with Arkansas checking in fourth, averaging 7,383.

Rounding out the top five is South Carolina, with an average attendance figure of 6,370 per home game.
