The 11th-ranked Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun softball team returns to the diamond on Saturday afternoon, when they travel to Monroe, Louisiana to take on the ULM Warhawks in a Sun Belt Conference doubleheader.

The twinbill will represent the first two games of a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series, with a single game  scheduled on Sunday to wrap-up the series.

First-pitch on Saturday is scheduled for 2 o’clock, with Sunday's start time slated for noon.

The series, the final three games of the regular season for both squads, also marks the final three games a season-ending eight-game road trip for Louisiana.

The Cajuns are currently 34-8, overall, and 17-3 in Sun Belt Conference play, after losing three-consecutive games to second-ranked Oregon last weekend.

UL currently leads South Alabama by one-and-one-half games atop the Sun Belt Conference standings, and can wrap-up the regular season crown on Saturday.

Offensively, Louisiana is hitting a .345, along with 83 home runs, 309 runs batted in, and 52 stolen bases in 62 attempts, while out-scoring foes, 347-100.

Pitching-wise, the Cajuns sport an overall, combined, team ERA. of 2.17, compared to a 8.76 for the opposition, while holding foes to a .184 batting average against.

ULM will enter the series with an overall record of 38-5, and a Pac-12 league mark of 16-2.

The Warhawks are currently hitting a .308 as a team, along with 24 homers, and 225 RBI’s, while out-scoring opponents, 260-189.

In the circle, ULM currently has an overall, combined, team ERA. of 3.72, while holding opponents to a .276 batting average against.

Louisiana leads the all-time series, 96-27, including nine-consecutive wins over the Warhawks.
