The 11th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajun softball team may have to deal with some weather issues this weekend when they open up conference action.

Louisiana will be in San Marcos, Texas to take on the Texas St. Bobcats in a three-game, weekend, Sun Belt Conference series, but the forecast doesn't look overly promising, especially on Sunday.

Friday looks to be the best day, with the forecast calling for cloudy skies, but only a 20% chance of rain, with an afternoon high of 78 degrees.

Temperature for the 6 o'clock first-pitch should be right around 75 degrees.

Saturday's forecast in San Marcos calls for a 40% chance of rain, mainly in the morning, with an afternoon high expected to peak near 80 degrees, which should be close to the temperature at game time (2 pm).

Sunday looks to be the iffiest day, with an 80% chance of rain, along with an afternoon high of 72 degrees.

The good news is that most of that rain is expected in the afternoon, so by moving the game time to 12:30 pm, it's possible the teams could beat the raindrops.

Let's hope they get all three games in.
