UL Softball Stays In Top Ten Of Major Poll
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns remain in the top ten in one of the major college softball polls.
Louisiana is, once again, at number 10, in the latest USA Today/NFCA Division I Coaches Poll, which was released on Tuesday.
UL defeated Southeastern Louisiana in non-conference action last Wednesday, before sweeping a three-game Sun Belt Conference series from Appalachian St. last weekend.
On Monday, Louisiana increased their current win streak to 15-straight, downing Campbell, to improve to 38-4 on the season.
The Cajuns return to action on Tuesday evening, when they take on UNC Greensboro in a non-conference tilt.
Oklahoma is the new top-ranked team in the nation this week, with UCLA, Washington, Florida St., and Alabama rounding out the top five.
Florida, Arizona, Tennessee, LSU, and Louisiana are ranked 6-10, respectively.
At 11-15, it's Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma St., Auburn, and South Carolina, followed by Auburn, Ole Miss, Minnesota, Arkansas, and James Madison at 16-20.
Finally, at 21-25, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Northwestern, Kentucky, and Colorado St. to round out the poll.
