The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns are up in the 8th college softball ratings percentage index (RPI) poll of 2018, which was released on Monday.

These are the last RPI rankings prior to the NCAA Regionals being announced on Sunday.

Louisiana, who is 36-13 on the season, including an 21-6 Sun Belt Conference record, ranks number 21 this week, which is up one spot from a week ago.

The Cajuns, who went 3-0 last week, sweeping a conference series from ULM over the weekend, return to the diamond on Thursday, when they play their first game in the Sun Belt Conference Softball Championship at Lamson Park.

Oregon is the top team in the RPI rankings this week, followed by UCLA, Oklahoma, Florida, and Washington.

6-10 consists of Florida St., Arizona St., Tennessee, LSU, and Georgia.

Louisiana is the highest ranked Sun Belt Conference school, followed by Texas St. (#31), Georgia St. (#62), South Alabama (#66), Georgia Southern (#81), UTA (#84), Troy (#107), Coastal Carolina (#132), ULM (#153) , and Appalachian St. (#231).
