More information is coming out on the helicopter crash that claimed two lives last month. In their report, The National Transportation Safety Board doesn't say what caused the crash south of Morgan City. They say the weather was good. They also pointed out that witnesses reported seeing the helicopter circling low and said the pilot waved at them. The helicopter was owned by Cenac Marine Services, a towboat company out of Houma. The pilot, Jason McKean, was not a Cenac employee. The passenger, Lanny Ledet, managed the company's Golden Ranch Plantation in Gheens.
