USPS Temporarily Stopping Mail To 706 Zip Codes
Because of the major devastation that resulted from Hurricane Laura hitting parts of Louisiana and Texas, the United States Postal Service says, via press release, they will not deliver mail today.
There will be no mail delivery for any place with a zip code that begins with 706, and the post offices in those areas will not be open.
They say they are currently monitoring the situation. Official add as soon as it is safe to due so, they will begin mail delivery to those areas.
