If you have been wanting to help the people affected by Hurricane Laura but don't know how, now is your chance.

All through last week, volunteers at Covenant United Methodist Church in Lafayette have been taking "The Love Truck" to the Lake Charles area, filled with donations to help those affected by Hurricane Laura.

A plea has been issued by Bonnie Robert Will, one of the organizers of the supply drive: "WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!"

Many people want to help but they may not have the financial means to make any kind of donation, whether it be monetary or food/supplies/other goods. Here's the good news: a donation of your time and efforts will help!

Covenant United Methodist Church will be humming with activity today and tomorrow, and help will be needed to sort/load the donations.

If you can help, go to Covenant United Methodist Church at 300 E Martial, between Kaliste Saloom and Comeaux High, today and tomorrow between 2 and 6 PM.
