Where to find sandbags in Acadiana

As heavy rainfall is expected to hit Acadiana beginning Wednesday afternoon and continuing through the weekend, several parishes throughout Acadiana have announced where residents can get sandbags:

ACADIA

Starting Wednesday, July 10 at 8 a.m.
6 bags/driver's license will be given out

IBERIA

B.O.M. Fire Station

Rynella Fire Station
Delcambre (church St./South Saint Peter St.)

Lydia Fire Station
Jeanerette City Barn
Jeanerette (Church St./Bourgeois Dr. - behind fire station)

Shovels will not be provided and residents should be prepared to fill their own sandbags.
