TUOLUMNE CITY, Calif. (AP) — A 225-square-mile wildfire continues to burn in and around Yosemite National Park in California and is only 7 percent contained.

Fire officials say inaccessible terrain, strong winds and bone-dry conditions are making it tough to get a handle on the blaze that began Aug. 17.

The wildfire also is threatening the quality of water in a reservoir that serves San Francisco.
