The David Thibodaux STEM Magnet Academy walked away from a weekend competition will some great news.

The DTSMA High School Ranger Team--Aquatic Robotics won 1st place at the 7th Annual Northern Golf Coast Regional Marine Advanced Technology Education Robot-Operated Vehicles Competition.

The team will now be heading to the International MATE Competition in Kingsport, Tennessee that will be held this summer.

In other winning news, teacher Joe Cunningham says that TEAM Hydrobotics took 2nd place in the Scout team competition.

The competition was held this past weekend in Alabama.
