Woman’s Rant to Ban Cheap Halloween Candy Goes Viral
She even went in on her elderly neighbors.
Halloween is a time to dress up and have a good time with your friends. Candy is just the cherry on top, right? Wrong! Candy is everything. Candy is the sticky glue that holds this whole entire spooky operation together. And if you're not getting the good stuff, then you're getting ripped off.
Well, at least that's what this woman thinks.
A woman in California has gotten some serious attention online after she sent a "PSA" to her neighbors through the NextDoor app about how trick-or-treating will be conducted this year. She informed her fellow residents that some candy will be deemed unacceptable in their affluent neighborhood. Dum Dums, Jolly Ranchers and Smarties were on her list of "cheap" candy.
And forget about fun-size candy.
She said the standard for candy is either full or king-size, but if you bought the smaller pieces you can dump four to six of them into kids' buckets to make up for your mistake. Not event he elderly residents were safe as she told them they needed to rise to the spooky occasion. Her exact words were "...stop peddling your pennies and step up your game."
We're thinking her house will be TP'd this year... Or worse.
