The following is a list of the people arrested since Friday in St. Mary Parish:

James Wilks, 54, 6 Ruby Court, Grantville, GA was arrested on May 23, 2015 at 3:12 am for driving while intoxicated. A deputy responded to a report of a two vehicle crash on Highway 182 in Siracusa. The deputy made contact with one of the driver’s, identified as Wilks and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and person. Wilks later registered a 0.171g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. The deputy transported Wilks to the parish jail for booking. Wilks was released on bond.

 

Trey Jordan, 20, 115 Ronald Lane, Four Corners, LA was arrested on May 23, 2015 at 1:21 pm for theft of a motor vehicle. On May 21, 2015, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a stolen dirt bike. The victim reported that a subject, claiming to be interested in buying the dirt bike, failed to return the vehicle after claiming he was taking it on a test drive. A deputy investigating the complaint received information regarding a possible suspect in the theft. During the course of the investigation, deputies went to Jordan’s residence where they located the stolen vehicle. Jordan was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a recognizance bond.

 

Randall McKee, 38, 100 Degraville Road, Amelia, LA was arrested on ay 24, 2015 at 5:59 pm for theft of assets of an aged person. A deputy responded to a report of a theft that occurred at a business on Lake Palourde Road in Amelia. During the course of the investigation, the deputy identified McKee as the subject who stole a purse that had been left unguarded by an elderly female victim. The deputy located the purse and its contents, which had been discarded in a trashcan and at another nearby business and returned the stolen items to the victim. The deputy transported McKee to the parish jail for booking. McKee was released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

Marvin Gabriel, 24, 209 Main Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on May 25, 2015 at 4:41 am on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family.

 

Doris C. Lively, 23, 2108 Monot Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on May 25, 2015 at 5:09 am for possession of Schedule I (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

A deputy observed two subjects in a vehicle in the parking lot of a business on Highway 90 in the Jeanerette area. The deputy knew that the passenger, Gabriel, was wanted on active warrants. The deputy made contact with both subjects and identified the driver as Lively. While speaking with Lively, the deputy received consent to search the vehicle and located a partially smoked marijuana cigarette and rolling papers inside the car. Gabriel was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $15,938.19. Lively was released on a summons to appear on court on August 19, 2015.

 

Angela D. Nico, 43, 310 Lockett Road #2, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 25, 2015 at 9:05 am for the following offenses:

-     Possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles

-     Headlights required

-     Expired drivers license

-     Expired inspection sticker

A deputy observed a vehicle with only one headlight travelling on Cypremort Road near LA Highway 318 and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, the deputy learned that Nico, the driver of the vehicle, was operating the car with an expired drivers license and expired inspection sticker. The deputy also located a cup containing an alcoholic beverage inside the car. The deputy released Nico on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

Alex Hernandez, 33, 148 Riverview Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 26, 2015 at 4:01 am for unauthorized use of a moveable. A deputy investigating a complaint of an unauthorized use of a vehicle learned that Hernandez was driving a pick-up truck without the owner’s permission. The deputy transported Hernandez to the parish jail. No bail is set.
