“Clash Of The Cocktails” Contestants Ready To Compete For Great Cause – “The Lafayette Food Junkie Show”

“The Lafayette Food Junkie Show,” which airs from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday nights here on Newstalk 96.5 KPEL, gives Lafayette and the Acadiana area its own show dedicated to the food we all love to enjoy and talk about!

On Sunday’s show, Tiffiany Decou, “The Lafayette Food Junkie,” and Chef Zach Doise continued their coverage of “Clash of the Cocktails.” The competition features mixologists from five popular local restaurants who will compete against each other on September 5 at the Madison in Broussard. Proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana.

This week, Callie Reaux of "Social" joined the show. In addition to talking about the Clash of the Cocktails event Friday, she discussed how she comes up with drink names.

Tiffiany and Chef Zack also chatted with Chef Megan Bentley of Bread & Circus Provisions, the first female chef to be on the show. They touched on the changing culinary scene in Lafayette, her favorite dish she's ever made and what dish would she want to be known for.
