  • Dow Jones Industrial Average added 4 points to 11,410.
  • The Labor Department said U.S. producer prices climbed last month.

  • Dell reported quarterly revenues below estimates and forecasted flat sales.

  • Shares of Hewlett-Packard traded down on the Dell report.

  • Target reported strong results with the beginning of the back-to-school season.

  • Crude closed at $87.58 a barrel.

  • And gold again closing at a record of  $1,794 an ounce.
