Former City Prosecutor Sues Lafayette Consolidated Government

A former assistant prosecutor says he was wrongfully terminated, and he wants the city to pay up. The termination of Marcus A. Allen stems from a simple battery case against him back in July of last year. Allen says former City-Parish Attorney Pat Ottinger told him to either resign or be fired. That battery case, though, was dismissed in March, and Allen says he was never offered his job back.
