Losing weight is one of the top New Years resolutions for many of us. We find the best diet plan that, we think, best suits up and hit it hard. But is it really doing anything for you? And is it worth it?
Just in case you are unsure or you still have yet to pick a specific diet, here is a list of the top 5 worst diet plans:
This plan focuses on lowering your carb intake and increasing protein. It is one of the worst because, while on this month long plan, you cannot indulge in grains, dairy, sugar and alcohol.
Most people find this one difficult because you can only eat meat and veggies and it can get pretty expensive.
Although I have never heard of this particular plan, is seems to be a 'no go' for many. Mostly because it involves a large intake of protein and can also be pretty expensive.
Speaking for myself, the name of the plan says it all. However, the reasoning behind its placement on the list is simple. You will lose weight, but there are a lot of rules and the meal prep take quite a while.
This one was quite a shocker for me, but I guess I need to start doing a little more research. This plan is all about limiting carbs. It has helped many lose weight, but experts say that it isn't healthy.
