NEW IBERIA, La. (AP) — A 31-year-old New Iberia woman is accused of stealing about $280,000 from customers' accounts while she worked at a Teche Federal Bank location.

State police say Brandy Rogers was arrested Monday night and booked with unauthorized use of an access card for theft, identity theft, theft of assets of an aged person, bank fraud, forgery, computer fraud and money laundering.

Troopers say investigators searched Rogers' home, where they seized several items allegedly purchased with the stolen funds. Rogers was taken into custody without incident.

It was not immediately known whether Rogers has an attorney.
