MONROE, La. (AP) — The Monroe City School Board will meet this week to discuss Superintendent Kathleen Harris' contract.

The News-Star reports Harris' contract requires a discussion of an evaluation to take place within 30 days after she receives the evaluation, but it does not require the contract be discussed at the same time.

Three weeks ago Harris released the evaluation in which board members described her as ineffective, incompetent, unprofessional, vindictive and argumentative.

Tuesday's agenda includes an executive session to discuss the evaluation, followed by the board reconvening into public session for the next item, renewal or nonrenewal of the superintendent's employment contract.

Harris' contract with the district expires on Dec. 31.
