PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Forecasters say the latest storm predicted to hit the East Coast today could leave up to 6 inches of snow in some areas, but it won't last long.

The National Weather Service says snow in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut should fall until early this afternoon before heading to the Gulf of Maine.

Temperatures will be above freezing and should move up to the 40s to mid-50s for the rest of the week.
