WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama flies to Texas today for a trip designed mostly for political fundraising.

But now his visit will include a meeting on the immigration crisis at the nation's southern border.

Also attending in Dallas will be Gov. Rick Perry and religious and local leaders.

On Tuesday, Obama asked Congress for $3.7 billion in emergency spending to address the thousands of unoccupied young migrants who enter the U.S. illegally.
