One Of Suspects In Lafayette Shooting Arrested

An update to a homicide that KPEL has been reporting on since week. Last Thursday, two men were found lying on the ground after being shot on the 600 block of Magnolia street. One of the men died in the hospital while the other is in stable condition. Jarvis Breaux was arrested a few hours for second degree battery. A warrant is out for Maurice Goodman for first degree murder and attempted first degree murder. As of yesterday, Martin Shakesnider was arrested for attempted first degree murder and accessory after the fact to first degree murder. Jarvis Breaux's charges have been changed to the same after it was discovered that they provided false information.
