A Thibodaux man is charged with decapitating his 7-year-old son, a wheelchair bound cerebral palsy victim. Thibodaux Police Chief Scott Silverii says Jeremiah Wright has confessed to the crime, has been charged with first degree-muder and is being held on a five-million dollar bond. Little Jori Lirette's mom, Jesslyn, told reporters today her boy was the best thing that ever happened to her. She was not at home at the time of the crime. Authorities are still trying to determine, why Wright cut Jori's head off and left it on the side of the road next to their house, but, police say he told them he was tired of taking care of the boy.
