Popeyes Black And Gold Photo Contest

The New Orleans Saints are rolling to the north west this weekend to take on the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional round of the 2013 NFL playoffs. The Seattle Seahawks will be tough competition, but the Saints have a secret weapon: Popeyes fried chicken.

According to New Orleans Saints wide receiver Robert Meachem, the black and gold are undefeated in playoff games when Popeyes is the pre-game meal.

In the spirit of the Saints' new found good luck charm, KPEL 96.5 along with Louisiana Hot Stuff proudly present the Popeyes Black And Gold Photo Contest.

Here's how it works:

Send us pictures displaying your Saints spirit and of course, Popeyes fried chicken. As always, the more the merrier in the photos, ask your family/friends/coworkers/neighbors/pets/fellow 'Who Dats' to join in. You can submit photos either on the bottom of this page, or on the KPEL 96.5 Facebook fan page. The deadline to submit photos is Friday, January 10 at 1pm.

The best photos will then be put into a poll. News Junkies will be allowed to vote on the KPEL 96.5 website. Voting will end Sunday, January 12 at 10pm. The winner will be announced Monday, January 13 during the "Mornings with Ken and Bernie" show.

The photo receiving the most votes will win:

• A gift certificate for a Popeyes Serves 20, which includes 50 pieces of mixed chicken or handcrafted tenders (with dipping sauce), one party side, and 24 biscuits (you can share if you want).
• $50 gift certificate to Louisiana Hot Stuff
• A 'Who Dat' voodoo doll
