The following is a list of the people arrested by St. Mary Parish in the last 72 hours:

Quentin Riley, 35, 1513 Plum Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 18, 2015 at 2:22 pm on a warrant for monetary instrument abuse and theft. A detective began an investigation into a complaint received from a business in Morgan City on August 5, 2015. The detective learned that Riley gave the business a fraudulent money order for over $1,000. A warrant was obtained for his arrest. Riley turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. He was released after posting $10,000 bond.

Glen L. Rochel, Jr., 32, 135 Laura Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 18, 2015 at 7:59 pm for criminal trespass. A deputy responding to a complaint of a trespasser causing a disturbance at a business on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista located the suspect on Arcemont Lane. During the investigation, Rochel was positively identified as the person who repeatedly went to the business despite being told that he was not to return. The deputy transported Rochel to the parish jail. Rochel was released on $500 bond.

William Pugh, 48, 147 West Syls Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on September 18, 2015 at 8:45 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving while intoxicated 2nd offense, driving with a suspended license, and speeding. A deputy made contact with Pugh while patrolling Lake Palourde Road in Amelia and located the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.

Luis Antonio Sanchez-Colora, 26, 802 Florida Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 20, 2015 at 3:16 am for violation of the maximum speed law. A deputy on Highway 90 in Berwick observed a vehicle traveling 98 miles per hour in a posted 55 mile per hour zone and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Sanchez-Colora. Following an investigation, Sanchez-Colora was released on a summons to appear in court on December 7, 2015.

Ryan A. Billiot, 34, 101 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 20, 2015 at 9:28 am on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. A deputy investigating an unrelated complaint made contact with Billiot at a residence in Patterson and located the two active warrants for his arrest. Bail is set at $42,147.39.

Stacy Burnett, 31, 116 Camie Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 20, 2015 at 5:22 pm for simple battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a battery at a residence in the Franklin area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Burnett scratched a female victim on the arm during an argument. The deputy transported Burnett to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $500.

Beverly A. George, 51, 114 Pain Drive, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on September 20, 2015 at 7:54 pm for driving while intoxicated, improper lane usage, and open alcoholic container in motor vehicles. A deputy responding to a report of a reckless driver observed a vehicle cross over the centerline and fog line of Highway 90 in the Patterson area. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as George. While speaking with George, the deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and observed that her speech was slurred. George performed poorly on the field sobriety test and later registered a 0.229g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. No bail is set.

Dylan Burgess, 19, 1550 Prairie Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 20, 2015 at 7:57 pm for driving a vehicle with no insurance. A deputy conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding and failure to signal a lane change made contact with the driver, identified as Burgess. While speaking with Burgess, the deputy discovered that he was operating the vehicle with no insurance. Burgess was released on a summons to appear in court on December 7, 2015.

Carol L. Bowie, 53, 109 Dinkins Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on September 20, 2015 at 10:31 pm on 2 warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Bowie turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s office in Franklin. Bail is set at $200,000.

Jason Fontenot, 28, 103 Rosewood Drive Apt. B, Houma, LA was arrested on September 21, 2015 at 1:14 am for disturbing the peace (intoxication), remaining where forbidden, and simple battery. A deputy responded to a report of a subject who refused to leave a business in Amelia. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Fontenot was told several times to leave the location, but refused to do so. Also, during the confrontation at the business, Fontenot pushed an employee. The deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on Fontenot’s breath and person. As the deputy attempted to speak with him, Fontenot yelled and cursed causing a disturbance. The deputy transported Fontenot to the parish jail for booking. Fontenot was released after posting $1,500 bond.
